I'm in the begining of replacing most of the body on my 72 f-250 4x4. I was wondering does the metal dashboard unbolt from the cab?

 

Lol. Imwondering the same question. I don't think it does from looking at other pics online but I'm hoping it does. If it doesn't it's most likely just tacked in and you can cut the tacks and weld it back in when your ready.

 

Yep, it is spot welded. You may have to remove the windshield to get to some of them.

Just took my crewcab apart and stripped down for paint and blasting. spots welds. Had to do some dash repairs/small dents. will have some pictures once we get past the body repairs and paint.

 

I just pulled apart most of my parts truck today. The metal dash underneath looks pretty cool. I'm trying to think up a way to work with just the metal dash
