I went and got the cab 2day. I was looking at it and saw the PO had try to make a chevy out of it. May it will be ok with rehab. and alittle counseling . LOL LOL LOL The floor is in good shape overall. All so stoped and took pics. of afew things thats on one of the junkers i passed on. Think it was a state truck and was wondering what the thing on the side of the bed was ? Plus the hood ornament , WHATS THAT FROM ?

 

The things on the side are reflectors that are set out for roadside emergencys _ The hood thingy, no clue.

What ever that hood ornament came off of its amazing the true art form that was put into cars and trucks of the erra, its sad we have lost it to the bottom line these days. Hope you had a pleasent drive pickin it up Dale it was a beautiful day here in no. cal.

 

GREAT day to be alive !!!!!! I'm done driving this week it will take a wild fire to get me out of the yard till friday. Then I'M GOING FISHING for afew days.

 

I have one of those road signal kits too. Mine was inside the cab though. They should fold out with plastic reflectors inside.

I'm more surprised by the firewall mounted brake booster! I wonder how long ago that was done.
