Need some ideas

I have to move a family member tomorrow and I notice that I have some fluid leaking underneath the front of the motor compartment onto the ground. It is also all over the front axle and I can see some of it all the way up on the alternator. It's a red oil not sure if it's tranny fluid or not or where it could be coming from. I HAVE to use my truck tomorrow anything you all can think of that I should check

All reservoirs oil, power steering, tranny, cooling, etc. It is on top of the front axle, it can't possibly be coming from there.

Sorry forgot to mention I checked my transmission oil and engine oil and both were good. But I guess I'll have to check my radiator and power steering in the morning

Ok so I just checked my coolant reservoir and it is right in the middle of the cold fill line bit the engine is till somewhat warm. Does cold fill line mean that when it is below the top line that you are supposed to add more is it supposed to be in-between. Please I need an answer cause I do not want to over heat my engine

When I had your systems, it was my steering box. Had to be replaced.

Manual pages 375-376 tells you where the levels should be. Can't copy them on my iPad and paste them here. Stupid iBook!

The coolant is orange (or mine is when I extracted some for testing Sunday) so it would seem to me this is something else if it's certainly red in color.
A leak indicates some type of problem (even simple) so the safest route is to have it checked out.

The concentration (freeze point protection), additive strength (corrosion
inhibitor), and level of coolant should be checked at the mileage intervals
listed in the scheduled maintenance information. The coolant
concentration should be maintained at 50/50 coolant and water, which
equates to a freeze point of -36°C (-34°F). Coolant concentration testing
is possible with a hydrometer or antifreeze tester (such as the Rotunda
Battery and Antifreeze Tester, 0014–R1060). The level of coolant should
be maintained within the COLD FILL RANGE in the coolant reservoirs.
If
the level falls below, add coolant per the instructions in the Adding
coolant section.
