I finally got my 6.0 transmission cooler installed
With a few tweaks of my own. I got a race shop to weld on -6 AN bungs onto the cooler so I could use Aeroquip lines.
I should have given the transition from hard tube to flexible hose a little more thought before ordering parts. What is on there now are crimp fittings to allow the use of -6 AN adapters. I should have just got some tube sleeves and flare nuts and just flared the ends of the tube for a more elegant joint. Oh well.
So here she is all mounted up and keeping transmission temperatures down.

I was thinking the same thing, hope your cleaned it out, looked nasty from here. X2, don't take it the wrong way here either..

What you see in the picture is after the cleaning.
It seems to be doing the job though. My transmission temperatures have dropped 30 degrees towing my 24' enclosed trailer around on a warm (for MN) day. The real test will come when the ambient temps get up to 80+, if ever, this summer.
