New 53 Truck C600 question about door glass window regulators

New 53 Truck C600 question about door glass window regulators
So I am new to 53-55 trucks and last week I picked up a cool 53 c600 MH
I need to install both door glass and it appears that the glass channel piece is supposed to roll back and forth on two little rollers but they are broken. I see that venders sell them (regulator roller) for about $6 each but as I have not had a chance to find a repair manual yet I was wondering if someone who has replaced these parts on their window regulators could explain what the process is. I tried a search here and google but didn't find much. do I need to remove the regulators?
Also looking for some old door glass for cheap, does not need to be perfect just not cracked, also the passenger side door glass run channel. (that inserts into door) anyone have some extra glass and ok door glass run? I know I probably should just buy all new window stuff but I just want to do a few things and drive the truck, as I'm already in the middle of two other projects that are all spread out.
Maybe when they do the safety inspection they won't check them, just assume they are rolled all the way down and not check em,
either way I need to keep the majority of the elements out of the cab.
