88 2wd to 77,78,94,95,97 F250 4wd

Truckrider814 is right, but it's not easy. I've recently finished a simalar project. Took an 88 F150 ext cab 2wd shell and changed it to basically a 94 F250 4wd. The hardest part was the interior because of how wiring bulkheads at firewall, steering column mounting and transition at firewall. Cut firewall section, steering column mounting and other brackets out of donor and rewelded in, only slightly imperfect. Alot of back and forth to wrecking yards and various donors double checking measurements and snagging more stuff.. I had alot of parts for this but always needed something else. The breakdown of my 94 F250 4wd, 95-351w, E40D, BW 1356, 91-10.25 sterling w/ LS, 77-F150 D44 HP coiler and shafts, 78-f250 knuckle out, 97-F350 4wd steering linkage except for TRE at pitman arm, I used a same year 2wd passenger side TRE instead and was perfect. Late model bronco fuel tank in rear with a little fab work. The only reason for all this nonsense is that
I have a 95 F150 4wd shortbox, 351, E4OD, BW 1356, 6" lift w/ 37" toyo's with bronco tank. Best truck I've ever owned, and I've had alot of em. Regardless, with time, you can do it. Good Luck and Happy Building. P.S. drink alot of Beer and ignore the Mrs.
