OD Button

For the '95 truck in the sig.

I mentioned this in a previous thread before, but when I push the OD cancel button anytime I am over 40 mph, it really slams HARD into 3rd. Afterward, it sometimes starts to shift really hard 1-2. The 1-2 shift then goes away after turning the truck off.

No codes at all. I had someone hook up their Snap-On OBD-1 while they drove (it shifted hard for them) and nothing.

The only thing he mentioned is that the tach reads 300 high at idle and 1000 high at 70mph (it is a new cluster).

Thanks for your thoughts.
