When it dose this what is your speedometer doing?
May also have a bad TPS or TR sensor if the speedometer is OK.

Noticed speedo glitch one time for just a seconf, this occured when tranny was working properly.Went to lunch and it acted up all the way to resturant. After restarting and heading back to work it worked perfect. This is nuts.

I think I would change the TR sensor and if that does not do it then the TPS.

Thanks, the bad part is I work on a fleet of e450's have seen a lot of issues in the last 12 years but this ones got me stumped.I'm starting to think a wire going in to a terminal end is 1/2 broken and making intermitent connection. The stumper is no codes at all in the tranny. I remember one case where a bus would die intermitantly at stops and it turned out to be a chaffed wire that would sometimes ground out locking the converter killing the engine. This one is even more fun because it's my baby and I want it fixed. It is a $400.00 junker to most but to me it is a work truck, tows my race car, and just plain fun to drive and I will not give it up at 211,000 miles young.
