Do you get much wind noise from the headache rack while on the highway?
not sure really, but I only get her up to 55 max any ways but the highway driving I have done doesn't give any additional noise as far as I can tell with the rear window full open

Most air tool are rated to run 90-100psi. Running higher pressure will cause them to wear out faster. And the air horns are designed to run at a certain pressure as well running too much will change the sound.

I'm a j-man millwright/industrial compressed air tech.

Cool glad to know, thanks

As for utility lights mostly function is what I want

I like that backrack, basically what I would like to get, and really need. I just know one day I'll be tossing some wood in the bed, and instead, it will end up in the cab.
Great looking truck, Jaime.

thanks, thats one reason I got it also to keep out people from using the back window to get in and so I can let my Goldel get fresh air with out the risk of him jumping out and running away after something if I needed to leave him in the truck for a minute or so I do love its looks and how it sits behind the cab

Update, already had an attempt to break into my truck, oddly the person was trying to use the rear window but was foild when my faithful Golden started barking and growling at them as we walked out the stores (Lowes) so it works gave my dog a treat too for scareing away the bad guy hehe

also purchased new CREE LEDs for the reverse bulbs, and just put in an order for the two front turn signal bulbs (plazma) cree projection lamps, so im excited to get them...and can't wait to see them in my girl...also will be ordering a set for the rear bulbs to replace the "corn cob" bulbs I have...

Obviously that works the EGR system. It says it's a time delay. Are all of those switches a time delay switch? Or is this different? If it is different, what advantage does it offer over stock?

update, ok so I had time this weekend and replaced the EGR solinoid thing,ni dice, so I figured since I did every thing else I could, I took the truck to a local shop to have them look at it and they found the vac lines to the canister were revered, so they reversed them for me and the CEL went away and lo and behold the issue was successfully resolved, they also broke off the badly rusted bolts and went ahead and replaced the dryer canister on the ol girl with the new one thats been in the cab for months now so now I can refcharge the AC YAY!!!! (the old one was rusted to where it was becoming dangerous to have)

anyways can't wait to pick up the truck today and take it for a drive and feel the Ford's power

another update, just spent about an hour or so pulling a vaccume and got one pulled and put at least two cans (12oz/can) into the AC and its cycling properly at this time as far as I can tell, just need to determine if I should toss the last bit of the third can in to bring the truck up to proper opperational status.

Look over on the old accumulator. Should be something like 1-2lbs and X amount of Oz of freon.

This includes the amount of PAG Oil that is also added. UNLESS the freon you're using lists the oil as being added in, as is.

At that point, just fill to the recommended amount and stop. Better to be 1-5 ounces low, than to be over.

So if the system recommends say, 2 lbs and 3 oz for a full system...Then you'd need 3-6oz of oil, and the remaining amount is to be Freon.

But do NOT overfill it, or you'll put too much pressure on the compressor, and it'll start popping O rings or Shaft Seals.

update, got the truck working good now, the little piece on the drivers side triangular window broke off that locks the window in place, so i need to go to pick a part and get a replacement, so im hoping thats going to be a quick easy job to do, but if not ill get the part and send it to the local shop to fix, sig other is wanting me to find a "newer truck to replace" my truck (not likely to happen) as they feel the truck is getting close to the end of its service life (yea right....) but im hoping to get at least 550k out of it, it still has life left in her....
