My door is stuck
Hi Guys!!
I have a Ford F-250 Super Duty extended cab. I cannot get the drivers side 'rear' door (extra door, whatever) open now.
It worked fine without a problem. I opened it, put some stuff in, closed it and haven't been able to open it since. Nothing is jammed in the door.
If I pull on the outside or inside latches, I am sure the top latch lets loose. The bottom one doesnt.
Any thoughts on how I can get the door open to fix it, what may need to be fixed?
It's really inconvenient for it not to work.
Thanks in advance

Your going to have to take off the inside trim panal to get to the rods that open the top and bottom latch , pull on those and the door will open , on the handle is a plastic clip one for each rod , they are threaded so you can unclip the plastic holder and move the threaded rod up to get more throw. The other possiblily is one of those plastic clips broke but you will be able to see that once you get the panal off.

Can you get the door panel off with the door closed?
Mine has stuck a time or two after heavy body flexing. I was able to pop it open by pulling on the handle while pushing inward on the door, relieving pressure on the latch. Push right at the very top or bottom to compress the door seal. Hopefully it will pop open and then be much easier to work on.

heh, yesterday the doors stuck today the battery dies and the clutch pedal is acting up. looks like I know what I'll be doing this weekend.
where are those screws at for removing the door, I took a quick look the other day and didnt see any, nor did I see any plastic screw cover thingies that auto manufactures tend to use.
