The order bank opened for the 2012 SD on May 18th...Job 1 is scheduled for July 25th. The only way a dealer could now order you a 2011 is if he has an order already in that can be changed.

 

I would say it would almost be too late for that as well. You would think all the 2011 orders would be locked in by now. If they aren't they will be very soon or they may already be balanced out for the year which I believe is the case.

 

The order bank for this week stands as
Super Duty - 41,714 (decrease of 5271 units)
Expedition - 11,117 (increase of 318 units)
Navigator - 1,630 (decrease of 40 units)

I would say they will not all get built then. It would take 8 weeks to finish them all. I was told that at the end of the production run whatever orders are left on the order bank are sent back to the dealers to be resubmitted as the next years production run. They will not be carried over because it would be too difficult for the plant as there are always changes to options and packages.

On another note it is a good sign to see the plant so busy. I hope it is a sign of better times to come for all.

 

The workers have speculated that a %tage of the orders may be put in by Ford, in case of a strike later this year.???

Dealer put in allocation order today, it said 2011 build! The truck is mine when I want it, if it doesn't get built, I ll justcwait till September to get one when they put rebates on 2012's!

 

How long does it take to get a brochure with a 750 rebate in it? Dealer said he could check the computer too!

 

I ordered a brochure on Friday, I will let you know if it has a 750 enclosed when I get it!

 

Got my $750 rebate voucher today via Email, expires on August 14th.

 

Jettix - Thanks for the update. I don't think I really ordered a catalog until yesterday....something went wrong first time, and I never got an email. I'll give it a couple days. So sounds like the rebates are good for about 60 days. If that's the case I'll keep my wife's name in back up in case in doesn't make it here in time!

My coupon which I used 2 weeks ago for $750 had in writing this is an extra incentive especially for me to be used with all and other rebates to be offered.I ordered my truck and when they told me the rebates and final price I pulled out the $750 coupon that Ford sent me.

 

I got an email from the dealer I bought the truck from the other day and said that they resubmitted my $750 rebate coupon and got it. Hmm it has been three weeks since I bought the truck and now they are going to give it to me when I complained to them and Ford and nobody wanted to hear it. Oh well guess its better late than never, I just don't understand why they couldn't give it to me at the time I bought it. We will see said it was coming right from Ford Motors.

 

Good to hear big Daddy! My sales guy said they can look it up on the computer! I ll wait till it's emailed to me! So can a person say husband and wife use two of these $750 vouchers on one vehicle? I'm guessin it says on the voucher! I haven't bought a new truck in 4 years, and am hopin the truck they put in the system yesterday gets built, so I can lay claim to it!

 

Got my $750 Private Cash Today 6/17, was in the Ford Computer on 6/16 (Dealer verified on computer!). Submitted for it online 6/14.

Make sure you put in planning to purchase within 30 days when you request a brochure! I read that on another forum. It's good for 60 days! If the cash expires, or looks like it'll expire before your truck gets in, then put it in your wife's name! It is transferable within the household, I think that's why that works. You can only use one voucher per vehicle purchased, says cannot combine with A,Z, D plans, but may be used with X plan!

Have to tell a guy at work to get his cash, he ordered a truck April 22nd, and it was built almost 2 weeks ago!
