I would like to tell the ford dealer ship to screw them self's they are not worth one bit of your time they charge way to much an i dont like there work i would take it to a shop that is earthier diesel specialist or they have a rep at doing a good job on our trucks ask around for info on good shops in area.

i wouldnt take it to a dealership either, i work at a dodge dealership and the labor rate is at $120.99 and just to remove and replace the cooler is set at 2.4 hours im sure to rebuild it along with that would probably be close to 4 hours labor. its really not that bad to do just drain the coolant and oil, i just pull the drivers side fender liner and its right there under the manifold. if i recall correctly there are 4 or 5 bolts going into the block then 4 o-rings and a gasket on each side where it connects to the block, just take a rubber mallet to hit the heads off each side, took me a little less than 2 hours start to finish at the house with normal tools and not rushing.
