Those 'Apache' tires are just for the winter. I plan on re-newing my BFG's this year. I really hate seeing white letter tires ground down by curbing. Not mine.

I (personally) really done like those windshield visors you see that that way FORD or whatever brand. The PO of my truck put a friggin blue oval on the tailgail, must have not liked the location, pried it off and stuck it on again. Left a damn ring and a dent from prying it off.

The reason I put the white letters out, is because they look like crap when they are dirty and look great when they are clean. It's motivates me to clean the truck more often, and a clean set of white letters screams "I put time into keeping my truck nice."

sporting the bfg name... just a casualty of war.
Thats pretty much how my thoughts have always been too. Clean white letters do look good.

It seems almost everyone likes the white letters out. I figured there would be more people that say black wall looks better.

I'm also tired of the different shade of rubber between the side wall and the side tread because of the white lettering. It makes a different color ring since its white like a white wall behind the sidewall.

I did a quick photo edit with paint. I really do think that the white letter detracts from the truck a bit. Does anyone else think that, or still the same opinion?

It's your truck, and you have pics to see exactly how it will look - do what you want.

I have a tire machine, bring it over to my house and I can flip them for you. If you don't like, we flip them back.

Technically, there is IS a white wall behind the letters, how do you think they they get the letters on there? Thats why it discolors.....Take and old white letter tire, and check for yourself.....

I think they both look good. I still lean towards keeping the white letters out, but I don't think it would be a big loss if you swapped them.

I'd keep the white letters, especially since they're already out!

If you want to go with black letters, you should do it next time you get tires. I wouldn't unmount them just to change the look of the tire.

Keep the white letters !!

For that two tone F150 it looks great with white letters.

Thought about fliping my Long trails on my L Clone but Discount Tire wants $60 to flip the tires, i'll pass !

I think that black/silver 150 looks much better with the white letters out (and fwiw, imho BFG A/T's are the BEST looking. just saying).

I might be able to get my friends brother to flip them for free. He might be flipping mine.
