I have a 2010 F150 4x4 Lariat (25k miles) and just last week out of the blue I had a couple of issues surface. On the GPS map display when I input a destination, it marked my current location and displayed and spoke a message that said 'your destination is too close to your current location....' something like that...

So I could not choose a destination. Wierd, then waited a few days and were about to take it in and my brother was with me and hit destination 'home' and it mapped my route home correctly and has continued to work properly for the last few days.

Then 2 days later, the drivers chair would not adjust. no forward, no backward, no nothing. I also tried to adjust the break pedan up towards steering wheel and nothing. Drove to another location and started it up again, still nothing. 2nd stop, started it up and the chair settings now work and have continued to work for the last 2 days...

Wife took it to Ford Dealer and they said 'if it's working, we can't diagnose it. But, hey, if you bring it in we'll update the GPS software for you. maybe that will help.'

I plan on doing that, but it seems strange to have back to back problems with electronics on the truck. Has anyone had similar issues and if so did you get them resolved?

90+ views, no replies... maybe I'm the first one to have this happen... Ford is ordering a new GPS system for my truck... Oh well, guess that's what the warranty period is for...
