No problem, i was going to ask him what the wheel was called when i woke up in the morning a while ago, and then my dad said he already took it off, i told him to wait.... Oh well... The paint isnt perfect anyway...

Also, im thinking about asking my dad to buy this truck off craigslist for $900. Its a 1984 2wd manual, with the 22r engine and 220k miles.... I dont want to sell this one. But i want to learn stick on something. Our neighbor offered to let me use his car but i dont feel comfortable with that... But first, i definitely need to get more miles with an automatic...

My 13 year old daughter drove my escort around the block today. (with me of course)

She killed it twice trying to get going and forgot to push the clutch when we stopped in our driveway. Good thing it's scrapyard bound anyway.

ive been following this thread as of a few minutes ago. 1. to your tire question, you can fit 31x10.50 on ur stock OEM wheels even though its a 2wd. i have 2 friends that have 31x10.50s on the exact same wheels and 1 of the trucks has horribly worn shocks and springs haha. 2. wow you have come a long wayt on making your truck look great!!! pretty impressive. 3. sounds great hahaha. your also lucky to have a rust free truck (not including surface rust) living in the rust free south is a pleasure hahaha

Went to a junkyard today. Picked up some arm rest things for the doors. Ours are "sagging" a bit. $10 for like new ones.... Found a back seat. Its just like ours but has no cuts in it. Ours has 2 small ones in the front of it. I drove to the junkyard. I havent driven in like 6-7 months. And even then i wasnt a absolute beast driver. But im working on it. I can tell its alot wider then the jeep.

Out front of the junkyard was the exact same truck with the manual i was talking about on craigslist. But it had an automatic and some weird primer white/blue paint job going on. He wanted $700 for it. But it had a bad head gasket... If it was a manual i think i would be begging my dad to get it...

My dad is cleaning the door panels as i type this, I might go help him in a second after i watch this youtube video.

Just read my own thread and cant believe how far its come. Here are a couple updates.

We started working on the passenger seat a couple days ago. The primer we used on this one compared to the primer-less drivers seat is a huge difference, definitely using primer before any painting the next time i paint...
A pic of me:

We built a shelf for "truck stuff" to move things out of the way of the 300 Hemi-C:

Then loaded her up with cans and put them in the recepticle at the firestation to help burned children. They cash in the cans or something.... We've been doing this since we moved here.

Heres what we battled all day today as we tried to change the transmission fluid. 4 times i think it stopped/started raining.

Siphoning out about half a gallon to make dropping the pan just a little bit less worrysome:

Working on the pan a bit:

The new cat thats been hanging around lately...

Right now we just have the pan all torqued up. And we added no fluid. We picked up this: Castrol USA - High Mileage ATF

Not sure if we should use it, wanted to check with you guys on this. Does anyone have prior experience with this fluid, or recommend another fluid??
