There is an eraser type wheel you can attach to a power drill to remove it. It can be found at most autobody supply stores. I can't remember what it's called though.

Maybe someone will help me out

We unbolted seat and seat belts to get the carpet out.
Here it is on the driveway, after a little bit of spraying it down...

Seat holding driver door open...

Best looking paint on the truck.

We soaked it real good again before we went to bed. Gonna clean it again tomorrow and let it dry. And hopefully we might not even have to vacuum it. We might take the insulation/sound deadener out and redo it. Mold might grow in it, unless we get it dry enough. If this doesnt clean it and just ruins the carpet we'll go ahead and get some carpet bought from somewhere... And do a little monstaliner...

We soaked it down before we went to bed. Got up jerryrigged a thing to hold it up with 2 ladders, clamps, and sawhorses(?). It was hovering around 90* all day, with a light breeze and it was extremely bright. Some pictures.

If you hit the carpet dirt falls out of it. Looks like some vacuuming is in order once it dries completely. But i think we really saved this carpet.

Here is one side of the truck done. Ill post the ingredients to achieve this shine below it. It looks alot better in person.

Some ingredients to shiny perfection.

Our way of holding it up to dry.

This weekend we went to a friend of my dads, who owns a 4x4 fabrication shop, he holds this rockcrawling event literally 100 steps from his shop. Thought you guys might want to see these.

This things tires were to the top of my belly.

This thing had a horn that sounded like a train. It is such a beast.

The green one on the rocks had a souped up v8 of some sort, he was crawling the whole time we were there, his son was in the passengers seat, he had one of the biggest smiles i've ever seen. It was really loud to.

This guy had a really nice buggy. I think he said it ran on propane as well...

This is made of 2 jy bodys put together, an f-350 frame to f-550(cant remember which one). The custom emblem on the said Y-550. Lol. I thought he was gonna flip it while on the rocks....

This guy went up the ramp, tightened the winch attached to his rear axle and sat like this for like 15 minutes before he left.

The truck is looking much better. You can also power wash the carpet if its not as good as you want.

By the way, those Michelin LTX MS tires you have on your truck are just about the best you can get.

Well i guess i need to take a look at what size the ones on it are... We cleaned just about every area available except for the dash. Put the carpet back in. Bolted seat belts back in as tight as possible. Then it started to rain off and on. We put everything back in the truck temporarily just like the last couple days. We're going to need to do something with the dash lights. I wanna put LEDs back there but neither me or my dad know how to. Is there some write-up someone could link me to? Its really coming together with clean carpet. If we get everything bolted in finally tomorrow i'll take pictures.

I would just get some 194 bulbs. Its not hard to replace them. All you have to do is remove the headlight **** and the instrument cluster bezel, then the cluster. There is another thread with pictures and a good description of how to do it.

We put the back seat back in. And took the drivers seat bracket off the bottom of the seat, wire-wheeled the surface rust and started painting it. The bracket is drying right now, and we'll probably leave it alone tomorrow. Some pictures:
I think he was vacuuming dont remember...

Pic of back seat in. As well as some of the carpet, that was extremely dirty before it was cleaned....

More of the carpet.

Really close to having the interior done, then we just gotta do something with the gauge cluster lights. The right half of the cluster's lights dont work, so no speedo... Possible excuse for speeding at night??(sarcasm) My dad just wants to replace the the bulbs with regular bulbs, but i wanna do leds... We'll figure out something...
Then we have to figure out the exhaust, the radio. I very much want to replace what i believe are factory speakers, and put in a sub... We need to work on the dent in the bed/cab as well.

on the 302 your not going to noticed a difference between the 40 and the super 44, i thought i would when i did it and i ended up going back to stock exhaust and put a tip on it. granted i use my truck as a work truck and have it above 2500rpm almost all the time so i found the aftermarket exhaust got annoying to hear. but i started with the super 44 found it sounded loud, but not powerful. just like these dumb ricers that put a giant muffler on there car but dont do anything else...... kinda like a farting 4 cylinder... the 40 sounds beefy, it marks the power in your truck it is the perfect sized exhaust for a stock motor, you'll get the sound you'll like out of it for a show truck, but it'll sound a little tougher then it is, and once you hit about 4250rpm on it'll sound like your truck working 100x harder then it is to do what its doing. this is why i moved to the stock system with a tip, it enhances the natural sound that you 302 has, not the sound it would have on a track. granted this is only my personal opinion i bought the super 44 put it on and returned it the next day tried the 40 2 days later returned it and got the a new stock exhaust and a chrome tip that added a little bit of a throaty sound to it, i love my choice, just do the research, make the choice thats going to make your truck your truck.
