my computer says 14.3 right now. That is the average since I got back home last winter and reset it after dragging the fifth wheel back and putting it in the barn.
i live about 10 miles from the nearest town, never do all city driving but have not been on a road trip either. That includes hauling some firewood and mulch with the flatbed trailer. 4.3 diffy
Computer showed 8.6 - 8.7 pulling the 11.5K fifth wheel at 65 mph

I just made a trip from Toledo,OH out to Minneapolis,MN and back. Round trip is about 1500 miles. My truck had about 1200 miles on it when I left. My wife and I, plus a dog and around 300 lbs. of stuff in the bed.
On the way out the speeds were around 62 - 68 and I got there with a figure of 14.9 mpg.
On the way back, I was pulling a 32' TT weighing about 9000 lbs. at speeds around 58 - 64
and I got home with the dash showing me 8.1 mpg for the return leg.
These are just figures off the trip computer. I am not too concerned if they don't match hand calculating.
Not that important to me right now.
I was very happy with the way the truck performed. No fancy shifting. Mostly just used my foot and cruise on Tow/Haul. Mostly flat terrain with gentle rolling hills. Mountains and steep grades will be another experience for me at a later time. I've got an order in for some super absorbent Depends for that trip.
Since my signature isn't showing, let me add .... 2013 F250 SC, Lariat, SB, 4x4, with 4.30 gears.
Anyone know why signature isn't showing up. I saved it.

Hi all I wanted to post my milage from last weekend.
I've got a 2012 F250 CC w 3.73 gears. Just got 3700 miles on it. It was a leftover. I picked it up with 43 miles new. I drove from San Jose CA to Modesto/Ceres Central valley. Overall we got 16.2 ave Highway.Once we got into the city stop and go it got down to 13.1 or so. We weren't hauling anything but shovels and some yard tools. So weight was not a factor. I can't complain at all. There were some hills overall mostly flat. For what the truck is 7000 lbs you can't really complain about mpg's too much.
Love the 3/4 ton. Very comfy. Tons's of power and the ability to basically haul anything I want. Anywhere... All smiles for me. Looks like some folks haul some monster stuff! I'll be getting a camper come spring. Then we'll really see some crappy Mileage. But I bought this thing to haul not sip. Great forum. Very informative group and good discussions overall. Happy Monday!

Just a note to anyone who read my comment about "my signature isn't showing up".
Looks like you have to have 25 posts under your belt for that feature to kick in.

Well, this must be wrong info. All of a sudden, the signature is showing up.
All is well with the world.
