One word here..."Lithium" as in the wd-40 products, should free it up some after a cleaning.

Are you talking lithium grease? I didn't think WD-40 contained any lithium?

speaking of seat belts......

does anyone have a creative way to get them to retract properly again? the passenger side one on old green has to be manually spooled back in.

No it doesn't, but the same company makes a line called special job or close to that, it comes in a black spray can that has a yellow lid cap and Nozzle straw

Should help with the retraction problem of ol green too

I imagine the spring is toast. Ford replacements are not too terribly expensive but its still couple hundred bucks.
