Hello all. New to the forum and I'm looking to buy an 08 F250 King Ranch with the 6.8L diesel. It has just over 101k miles. Am I getting in over my head with that many miles? The price is very reasonable for a fully loaded truck. Any help is appreciated.

 

the 08 was a 6.4 diesel, The 6.8 is the gas engine. whats the price? I wouldnt mind having a 6.4 but I think they are a bit over priced for a 2 year limited run on the engines.

 

If its a 6.8l then its the v10. 101k on a V10, If its been maintanined, I would not flinch. I had an early v10 and put over 160k, still ran great, used no oil. Just like any motor, change the fluids on time and keep track of it. It will last a long time. If its 6.4l diesel, different thoughts here. Check it out, find out if its had at the proper changes made. It is out of the 100k warranty, so I would have to take a harder look. Costs are a lot more to maintain and to repair.
