modding a legendary '03 f250 7.3L powerstroke
#34
Ya'll think this may have been a set up? May be some Izuzu Bow Tie guy trying to start something and see how the FTE Diesel folks responded? I mean really, there was a lot of different stuff in his posts. Kind of like throwing something on the wall and seeing what stuck.

i'm 16, and recently just "inherited" an '03 f250 kingranch 7.3 liter powerstroke (444 cubic inches, v-8, 17.5:1 compression ratio, 4.11" bore, 4.18" stroke, single turbo charged, peak horsepower "275hp" and peak torque "525lb/ft) with around 120,000 miles on it all stock. and for my birthday i'm getting some modifications done to it to have a better truck than all my friends. i'm looking at a 10" superlift lift kit, kmc XD775 machined wheels, 37x13.00-17LT superswamper TSL bogger tires (10 ply sidewalls, cause we have alot of ghetto "african americans" that like to ruin other peoples trucks cause they can't afford them), AIRAID quickfit air intake system, MBRP XP series stainless steel 4" turbo back dual stack kit with 6"x36" black angle cut stacks (+18hp and +28lb/ft torque), TS performance 4-bank chip with 6 position switch (stock, high idle, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp, and 140+ hp extreme switches), bullydog shift ehancer kit, banks quick-turbo turbine housing (to help the sluggish take off). and i'm wondering if, with all the parts on i could rev the engine to max rpm's and take off running the 140+ hp switch on the chip at full throttle without dropping my transmission? and still beat an '04 dodge 1500 5.7L hemi, s&b cold air intake (now shriveled up from getting soaked by my stupid friend, cause he went "water-over-hood deep in mud), 3" lift, 25" nitto trail grapplers? any input would be appreciated
if you have forged rods get a bigger turbo and injectors.
being 16 you have that kind of money for such mod upgrades?
isn't much you can do to this motor.
