Here's the description...

97' Ford F-350.
1 Ton Dually with a flatbed. 2 toolboxes mounted under the bed,
custom built towing package, and headache rack. Motor has 33,000 miles on it and
is a 7.3 diesel. Has lots of power! Allison automatic transmission that was just rebuilt.
Truck runs and drives great. The inside door handles do not open the doors, and the driver side door handle is missing.
The windshield has a crack in it. The truck is red and white, and is beautiful, with no damage, the body is perfect.
The truck has 6 fairly new tires, with about 70% tread left.

The welding machine is a Miller Bobcat 250 NT with a 10,000 WT generator, and a 20HP Onon engine.
I have 75 ft of cable, which averages to 37.5 feet of each. Machine has only 143 hours on it, and welds great!
Not shown in pictures but comes with oxygen, and butane bottles and torch.

The truck is MUST SEE to truly appreciate it's condition.

Thanks for looking!

The truck has an Allison transmission. The best value on the truck looks like it's the welder and bottles that come with it.

I guess nobody thought it was so funny....

Anyway, There is an old allison that was used in International trucks, but it is not even an overdrive unit, so it is very impractical.

The modern "Duramax" Allison cannot be used behind a Powerstroke. My guess is he is mistaken on it having an Allison trans.

Premise for the post: I have had lots of people that say they would give anything to have an Allison in there Ford, So I thought it was funny that he said there was one in the truck..... (BTW, the Allison trans in the Duramax trucks are overrated...)

So, if you all are confused even more now, and I look like even more of a Dummy, let me know and I'll get the thread removed

I do. I hate the things. My buddies wont hardly hold a superchips turned up. Whats so good a about a tranny that slips with 80 horse extra.
I could buy a bullet proof E4OD for what a semi built Alli costs.

Yes it it. As soon as you start throwing power at a stock unit things start going bad. It's rated right up to about stock HP/TQ numbers. Happened to a couple friends of mine.

From the GMC commercials "..and the same transmission as an m1 tank" .... No I don't think the D-maxes have an Allison DDA X-1100-3B like the Abrams..sorry. good marketing ploy though, if you fall for it. Can you tell I'm not a GM fan?
