Pics of trucks fitted with racerbacks, cab extenders, cab spoilers or whatever?

Hey folks,
Last year i fitted a Lund cab extender, or racerback as theyre known down under to replace the horrible rollbar/headache rack i fabbed up a while ago and it looks sweet! I was wondering if anyone else has trucks fitted with.these and are you willing to share pics?
If anyone wants to see mine feel free to browse my gallery/albums, im on mobile theme at the moment so posting a pic isnt an option.
Thanks guys!

Aussie,

I've never seen anything like that, it's cool! Is there a roll bar underneath it? There seems to be hoses leading to the passenger side. What are they for? When you have time, you should post pics.

Cheers,

John

zenmaster,
Thanks for your reply, there is no rollbar underneath it so im kinda praying i wont ever need it lol. The hoses you see are for the LPG (propane) filler valves but ill be relocating them to the stock filler door when i get the chance. By the way, on an australian assembled f series, the driver and passenger sides are the other way around

Aussie,

Ah yes, right hand drive. I should have known that!

Is the a lot of support for propane there? Do most gas stations carry propane?

Here in Ontario, not many stations carry it... Farmers will sometimes have large holding tanks on their property for propane. I think they're refilled by tanker trucks when they get low. But most people still run gas or diesel in their cars.

Btw, what's a litre of regular gas worth down under? We're at $1.24 per litre right now.

Cheers,

John

It's mine. A work in progress, the 460 is now a 472 and pretty much everything has been improved as I broke it .

I like the open dash pod on the Australian trucks.

Zenmaster,
in my state, there is loads of support for propane vehicles, just about every filling station has it available until you start getting into the desert, plus the government were giving away rebates for folks who bought or converted propane cars.
Regular feul is about $1.24 a liter here too, but LPG is 60¢ on a bad day!

I dont think i'll ever stop working on my truck. Yours looks like an animal! Whats the rim/tire combo and lift?
The dash in the aussie trucks is pretty user friendly but i prefer the style of the american ones.

The rims are 15X10 and the tires 35X12.5 Baja Claws, they fit the wheel well nicely with the 3" body lift. Every time I think I'm not going to spend anymore the winter comes and I start to tinker. Maybe I need to move to a sunny climate .

The Aussie dash allows a little more creative freedom, I had a hard time fitting the gauges I wanted and keeping the stock look.

Im running the same tyres on mine but with no lift. The other week i told myself that im just going to do the paint and window tint then leave it for a while, then a 6" lift kit came up for sale so i guess its gonna grow some more lol.

what engine do you have?
how difficult was the conversion? (and what did it cost)
are you happy with the power?
any regrets about the swap?

I bought the truck with the system already fitted. Im reasonably happy with the power, but then again, show me a man who doesnt want more horsepower and Ill show you a liar lol. The only thing i dont like about it is the restrictions in terms of tank location and the availability of extra feul in an emergency.
