Holy Magic Air heaters

Spent some time on all these Magic Air related parts . All heaters were taken apart , media blasted , epoxy primered and painted . New rubber grommets installed on the middle case , motors were tested and heater cores were pressure tested . Have some more at the media blasters along with some fresh air tubes . One heater is going to our friend in Brazil - Alex and one is owed to Rich in Wash. state . Have 5 in inventory along with some restored fresh air tubes . More heaters and fresh air tubes when I get a large load back from the media blasters .

Heckuva collection you've built. Looks good! You forgot to mention the heater to kick panel boots or collars. On a side note: did you ever get the e-brake cable boots cast? I still need them.

Brad , am thinking almost everyone on FTE is aware that '51 & '52 heater boots are reproduced by firstrider . They will fit '51 FORD & MERC trucks equipped with Magic Air heaters as well as the '52 style will fit FORD F-1 & up trucks with Magic Air heaters . Also have plenty of fresh air tubes restored and available .Have a few '48 -'50 fresh air tubes .Making the '51 adapter ring is quite basic . Any one with simple fab skills could make one . Have a couple of minor moulding items to figure out and will star making the e-brake cable boots .With any luck at all will have them made end of summer .Will keep you posted and post pics when completed . Later , Denny

Not a hospital bed but an exam room gurney . My buddy and I were doing some remodel work in a doctors office at the same time they were replacing old doc. office furnishings .They were going to throw it away so I said throw it my way . It is all stainless and has hydraulic system to raise and lower . Makes it very nice & easy to work on and load & unload furniture from the work van .Has large wheels and opposite corners lock.It is very handy to have around the shop .
