Does thee 00 take the synthic lube with friction modifer? I was wondering if this is breaking down?

 

If your has limited slip and it would be a pretty good assumption to say it does, yes you would need friction modifier. Have you changed the fluid in the rear end lately? Most use 75-140W mobil 1 full synthetic with the modifier already in it. If you filled it with something else you may need to add the modifier. Comes in tubes and most auto places have it.

 

Does it have a LS rear?
