I Finally Got my Truck! 96' F250!

Almost two months ago I bought a truck sight unseen back in Idaho. My dad went and looked at the truck for me As I am in the U.S Coast Guard Stationed in Michigan. I wanted a nice older truck. Ditched my bad *** 2010 F150 and paid cash for this truck! So excited about that! So Here she is. 96 F250, 460, 5 speed. 73,842 ori miles... Dand good shape too! Has a few dings and dents. Nothing that can't be fixed. Has a new set of Hancook dynapro atm's, 285/75R16's. All stock suspension. drives like a dream. I had lithia ford in Boise spray the crap out of the undercarriage with undercoating before I sent it out here! Dumb cruise control doesn't work! my plans are to add the following.
Headers, exhaust
Bed liner ( u-pol raptor diy kit)
New wheels
Heavy duty front bumper/winch
euro headlights
grill insert
front leveling kit, sas? lift? I am happy with 33's...
more I am sure!

I am not sure... I honestly would be 100% happy with a 1.5" leveling kit. However, I know that some trucks just won't take them. due to alignment issues. Wheels are a must. Those hub caps got to go!

Love the short box F250's. Too bad you aren't closer, there is a guy on Craigslist selling a nice winch bumper with winch for $700.

Please post pics as soon as you start making changes.

NICE TRUCK! I wish i could find a supercab short box. they look awesome. as far as lift/sas i think you need somewhere around 4 inches of lift to do the SAS otherwise you have clearance issues with the ttb crossmember. your ttb should be fine with 33's tho.

Nice looking truck. The only thing I suggest you change is the tires. They look too big in relation to the height of the truck.

Take a look at these bumpers. I think one would look good on your truck with a lift. Heavy Duty Winch Bumpers for 1992-1998, Ford F150-F550, Bronco Ford Trucks by BUCKSTOP Truckware

Thanks for the kind words! I look forward to making it my own. I would really be happy just leveled, with the 285's that are on it. And different wheels of coarse!
