Manifold leak

So who out there has had the right exhaust manifold leak?? Mine has just developed this, and drives me nuts. Sounds like an old clapped out Buick when taking off. Has anyone had any luck just changing gaskets, or should i bite the bullet and get a new manifold? Looks like there is a lot of room in there to work on it too.

Manifold replaced

I had an exhaust leak on the passenger side which seems to be the side I have seen on a number of posts. The dealer said it was a warped exhaust manifold. I have also read that eventually it would become a cracked manifold. They quoted $750 to replace it and the final figure was $870 but it was under warranty so no cost to me. 2005 extended cab, 5.4, 65,000 miles.

If you take a look at it and decide that you want a new manifold we sell a ton of different types. They also include a limited lifetime warranty on them,so if something happens down the road we can get you a replacement.

If you need any help just let me know.

Mine warped and was replaced under warranty. Mileage came up after replacement, was causing the truck to fatten up fuel mixture due to air being drawn in. Was fooling the O2 senser.

If none of the studs are broke then it prob isn't warped. I would try changing the gaskets first.

No broken studs. Seems to get better after it warms up five minutes or so. Still sucks, especially with 49000 miles. And babied. Maybe i should start beating on her a little.....
