F250 ignition problem

I have an older Ford truck that I need advice on. It turns over but doesn't fire up. If I keep at it a long time it will eventually start. I have replaced the coil pack but that didn't work. Have to take it on the road next week and only have a day to work on it. Any advice?

What year? What engine? Do you have dual tanks and if so, is it the same on both?

When's the last time you gave it a tune-up (plugs, wires, etc)?

Less than a year ago I put in all new plugs and wires. Just replaced coil pack also. It is starting ok now, but don't know if I trust it. If it happens again I am going to ck all plugs, but don't know if that's the ans, as they're all less than a yr old. Any hints?
