ok, so I have the K & n filter, insulated intake, headers, it's an '89 F250 HD, 460 C-6 auto, and I'm considering an upgraded Speed density cam, it sounds like I'll need a custom program? Do you also need the cam specs for this? I use this truck for towing a 5th wheel, and playing around town. Thanks, Bruce

Yes, you'd need a custom code for the cam. We'd need the full intake and exhaust specs for the cam, along with any other changes you've made. Give us a call and I can go over the process in depth.

Bruce, where are you getting the speed density cam from, i am curious. I want to improve performance in my motor as well. I was thinking a chip next, but might go with the cam too.

Been looking at the following. Comp Cams Grind # XE256H-14 specs at .50 are int/exh 212/219 lift .490/.495 LSA 114 deg. also been looking at Crane Cams 35655-16 adjustable kit for roller rockers(no machine work). or possible 36806-16 which is their roller bearing kit to replace the solid stop fulcrum, which uses stock rockers.
Any thoughts on these items would be appreciated. Thanks.
