Fuel injector copper crush ring
I am trying to be very careful with my fuel injectors and not damage them. I am probably being too careful. What is the trick to getting the copper crush ring off without damaging the tip of the injector?

Just slide it off, it fits pretty tightly. The holes in the tip are out on the angled part, so scraping the washer down the sides won't hurt anything.

Then I used either a 5/16's or 8mm deep socket to tap the new washers back on

Got it thanks.
I used a tiny screw driver.
They are pressed down tight.
