Mobil1 5W-40 $19.99/Gal

I'm not sure if the deal is reigonal or not, but my local O'Reilys has gallon jugs of Mobil1 5W-40 Diesel on sale for $19.99 all month.(limit 12) Just thought I'd pass that on in case any of you guys like to run Mobil1. It's hard to beat that price around here on Synthetic.

Most Walmarts sell Rotella T6 for $19.50 a gal.

Wow.....that's a great price. I'd run M1 over Rotella any day except for the significant cost difference.

Thanks for tip Jeff. I'll have to check to see if my local O'Reilys is running the same deal. If so, time to stock up!

M1 is $27 a jug here in Arkansas at Walmart unless they've reduced it very recently and not all of them even carry it. O'Reilly's is only 3 miles and don't even recall seeing it in that store, but for <20/gallon it's worth a phone call to check. My truck HATES the Rotella T6.

walmart usually has the 5 quart jugs vs the autoparts stores gallon jugs. Most of the time, walmart's 5 quart jugs are still cheaper...

I'm not sure about the motorcraft, as I have never bought any of it. I'm talking about oil in general. Over the years Walmart for me, has always been the cheapest place to buy oil. There jugs have always been the 5 quart jugs vs. gallon jugs. I did happen to pick up some 5 quart T6 jugs at advance auto @ 25 a jug which turned out cheaper than walmarts 19.50 after a 40% off coupon. So perhaps the autoparts stores are starting to catch up to the fact that walmart is dominating them on the 5qt. vs. 4qt jugs. On a side note, advance has T6 for 19. right now but coupon no worky for it. The coupon codes however work fine for gear oil...

Just an FYI, O'Reilys also has the T-6 5-40 on sale for $17.99 until the 23rd I believe. That's the cheapest I have ever seen it.
