no cover the fill neck sits about 2" over the hight of the box. linex just looks beeter and will help bled it in to the best to make it blend in better then an ugly plain aluminum box.
Im gonna try to give it a swirl patter with my digrinder and a brillo pad. Ill see howe I like that. they also have an aluiminum dimond plate box that is special order and cost about $100 more.

that was what I was after as well nut it would not fit in a shrt bed and I didnt want to wait. thety had a 60 galllon version of that same tank but I could not see giving up 30 gallons. I also had no need for an external pump as im not going to be filling up farm equipment.

as of now I dont have any other filter. I will be installing a frame mount wix water seperator and filter.
rds has an install kit that has a roll over valve that plumbs in to the filler neck hose, wich is what I used.
like I said the hardist part was unbolying and tilting the bed. thats really not hard. just need 2 people and a few chunks of 4x4 to do it.

i'm ready to mount this thing, let me ask what did you do to secure it? did you just drill through the truck bed and place bolts, i was also thinking of raising the tank off the truck bed to allow passage of 2x4's and the like when needed. or any other things i may need to look out for when securing this to the bed. thanks

Sorry I have been lazy and not taken pics and posted them up. I need to.
I drilled 4 3/8" holes in the bed. 2 in the front and one in each side. watch the placement of the tank and make sure you are not drilling threw the bed cross supports.
its was a rather simple install should tank about 1.5-2 hours.
