2001 F350 power seat problem

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2001 srw f350 lariet. I've just noticed my seat will not move back. I've tryed sitting in it and pushing back winggling the switch and wiring, but nothing. I can bairly fit in the seat, because it is moved so far up. It works on everything else. but just wont move back. Anyone else ever have this happen? Thanks, Jason

Mine does the same thing. I just got a new seat switch for mine but it's -13 degrees out so I'm not too motivated to change it today.

When I bought my truck, the seat was too far back so I adjusted it forward and unplugged the switch.

Mine would move forward but not back. Forunately that is the direction it needed to go.

I had the same issue and my solution was this::When you have time and patience, take out the switch and closely trace out what contact would move the seat back, for me.it was just a matter of bending the copper to make a good/consistant connection.
