SD SuperCab and Moonroof

I was not aware that you couldn't get a moonroof in a supercab.
I have one in my crew cab and it does take up a lot of room in the headliner going back towards the rear glass. Maybe the cab isn't long enough?
The lack of headroom isn't a problem unless you want to drive with a cowboy hat on. But after having it, I could live with or without it. I just don't use it that much it seems.

one reason only, FLEX! a super cab flexes like crazy when the frame flexes. its because a super cab doesnt have the center cab support like a crew cab would have. if im hunting and my truck is sitting weird in the woods my doors open and shut like crap because of flex, yet my dads 2000 crew can be completely flexed out in a ditch and the doors open and shut like butter.

Chevy and Dodge both offer them in their extended cabs. I had aftermarket ones put in two previous Dodge Quad Cabs with no issues. Quality isn't cheap. I think they cost me 12-1400 each time I did it, but they looked completely factory when installed. You do loose a little headroom clearance in the back seat when they are installed as they have to drop the headliner back there to make it work. I would do it again, but my current supercab has the power sliding rear window that I have found works just as good or better than a moonroof as I don't need the light, just the ventilation.
