460 Pilot Hole

I just had the C6 rebuilt that goes behind my 460. When I swapped the 460 into the truck last year, I had to change the torque converter because, for what ever reason I did not fit. I went with one that had roughly a 1.85 Pilot. It seemed to fit good. A year later the torque converter massively failed and ruined the rest of my transmission. The guy who rebuilt the tranny said that he had never heard of a 1.85 pilot on a 460 that he had only heard of a 1.375 Pilot.

So has anyone else run into this? Im nervous about putting a new torque converter in that is the wrong one. I have also heard of a 1.25 pilot, but I do not know what this came on.

Also there is a 1.25 hole within the roughly 1.875 hole on the back of the crankshaft.
