ELLIOTT, JASON ROBERT Saturday, 05 Feb 2011 Smithers Interior News Smithers ELLIOTT, JASON ROBERT passed away suddenly on Feb. 5, 2011 at the age of 24 years. Jason was born on May 7, 1986 in Smithers, B.C. He attended Smithers Secondary School and graduated from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops with an Engineering Technologist degree.
Jason loved the outdoors, enjoying horseback riding and snowmobiling. Jason was a happy, outgoing person with a strong sense of self. He was a gentle, thoughtful and loving person who was always willing to lend a hand or give support. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jason is survived by his parents, Vernon and Cindy, his sister Samantha, grandfathers, Robert Elliott and Andrew Stalker, aunts and uncles, Bill and Joan Barber of Edmonton, Bruce and Irene Elliott of Smithers, Nancy Saunders of Vernon, Glen Stalker of Castlegar, cousins Kendall, Justine and Larissa Barber, Tanner, Markayla, Cassidy and Jenna Elliott, Clint Stalker and Holly, Kelsey, Amy and Drew Stalker and we better not forget his two horses, Missy and Suzie.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Paul Lychak Hall in Evelyn. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Bulkley Valley Search and Rescue. Donations can be made at the Bulkley Valley Credit Union.

Seems I would learn not to stay away from the group for so long as when I do and I get to checking around I find something tragic that happened.
I didn't chat with Jason much but when I did it was always a pleasure and fun.
Just to add to everything that everyone else has said he will be deeply missed an I think I can speak for Michelle and I both, our thoughts,our prayers and strength go out to everyone.
