Very Bad News J_E_Summit
 

I am now fairly sure that Jason was in fact the victim of the avalanche in Smithers on Saturday. I checked his facebook page and there are many messages concerning this.

Right now I am kind of in shock. No names have been released as of yet but it all points to Jason.

RIP Jason (J_E_Summit) My thoughts are with you, your family and friends.

I'll be back later. This is hard.

This is terrible, I only had the opportunity to chat with him on a few select occasions and it was always a pleasure. My condolences to friends and family, he will be missed!

I'm not really sure what to say. Damn. Spent many a day here chatting with Jason. Chris, are you absolutely sure? Could there be a chance he survived, or are they sure he perished?

My prayers go to his family, may God have mercy.

One doesn't realize how fragile life is nor how short life can be until something like this takes a young person away from us.

A tragedy no matter who was involved, but let's not give up hope yet...it hasn't been confirmed that it was indeed Jason.
