Dash cover

I had been thinking of a carpet dash cover to hide the carcked front and top of my dash, but I came across this at JC Whitney

Palco DashTop Cover - JCWhitney

Has anybody bought something like this? Good fit, colour matching etc? pics of it installed?

Thanks!

i just put a carpet dash matt from dashmat in my 94 because of a crack i didn't like. Fit was very well. It needs a couple more days for the carpet to lay down since it came rolled up but other than that everything was good. Color fit and overall apperance is great. price $26

The one in the link is a plastic cover that looks quite like the original dash, much easier than removing the entire dash to replace

i never have seen a plasitc one installed, if that is the route you go i would love to see pics. The carpet one i used i really like, nothing you put on your dash viberates or rattles and i like the look. keep us posted on what you decide i might do something different on my 91

I have a Coverlay brand like that one that I bought from JCW about 2 years ago. Fits good and looks very original. I don't have any pictures, but I can probably take and post some.

How about just a hard cover replacement?
Like almost $30 less, and it looks pretty much stock. (I dislike the carpet covers personally)
Edit: So it does help to include the link I was referring too.

That is in fact what I'm referring to, and the same type of product from the JC Whitney link I provided in the first post.

Ah, I just read carpet cover, and with the horrible connection up here couldn't load the page.
Found it for cheaper at least.

Expensive at LMC, but they do have it, plus you can choose the color without having to paint yourself.

Heres a pic of someone elses truck on here. Just a simple red carpet cutout to fit on the dash.
