FORD V8 GAS ENGINES USED IN 1960-1979 FOR TRUCKS.

Pardon me for my ignorance, but I just want to ask if there is a complete TOPIC or THREAD about FORD V8 GASOLINE ENGINES used in 1960-1979 FORD F600,F700, F750 and F800 trucks. I am interested on this INFORMATION because I might buy a 1973 FORD F700 wich has a V8 GAS on it.

Is in pretty good shape cause weather here is dry and hot at most of the time. I just want to FIX it and RUN IT and have some fun....

And DIESEL guys might trash me on this, but those GASSERS were GOOD, they even still running today!!!!

And I do not care for MPGs

Here's what I know with a possible error or two (or more). From '60-'64 the 292 Y-block was still used. Also in use in the larger trucks (700 and up) was a 302 and 332 based on the Lincoln Y-block. In the largest trucks (900 and up) there was a Super Duty V8 available in either 401, 477 or 534. Then Ford came out with the FT series 330, 361 and 391. And then came the Lima series 370 and 429.
Maybe someone else can add to this.
