2010 Lariat-Blowing cold air on driver's side
Hi guys, I have a problem with my Lariat blowing cold air on the driver's side. It happened last weekend when it was snowing hard and drove around town for a couple hours with defrost on. After I got out on the interstate the cold air was blowing in through the vent on the driver's door and down by my feet. It was -4 driving home. I though that some ice may have gotten in and jammed a damper open allowing cold air in. I took the truck in and thawed it out and the same thing happens. Cold air out of drivers side and hot air out of the passengers side. The truck has the dual heat/cool setup and it seems as if the driver's side is stuck on cold but I have it set on just driver. Has anyone experienced this since the heat comes in handy. It was only -25 this morning. Thanks

2010 should be under warranty yet, I'd take it to the dealer to avoid any chance of warranty voiding. But I feel your pain I used to live in Minnesota and lost a heater core, got fumigated and instant fog at -30, That was fun trying to see on the freeway. It probably looked like something from a Cheech and Chong movie to the passers by.

Wow, I see this post resurfaced again. I was the OP on this thread over a year ago. It was strange but the problem corrected itself. I didn't have any issues with it this winter but we really didn't have much snow either. If your truck is an '09 it would depend on when you bought it since it should be the 3yr/36,000 warranty. Good luck

thanks, I'll go and see exactly when my father purchased the F150, I know it's a 2009. I'll first check to see if the coolent is flowing thru the core.
I do not trust his Ford dealer. That's my main problem. They've got the New Car market all to themselves, and they know it [when it comes to service] I'm pretty shrewd when it comes to this dealer.
And if it's covered...I'll make sure it's covered.
Thanks!
