So I get the Complete (hub to hub) Dana 60, frame rails, steering box, steering links, sway bars, cut leaf springs, 2 F350 tires. Also got the rear blocks.

I'll post Pictures tomorrow but it in my truck bed.

Now My only after though (as I'm half way home) or problem. It came out of a F450 not a F350. The $50 Clearly had a Dana 80 in it. I was told it had a 4:10 gear ratio. Now Did they make a Dana 80 in 4:10? I know they made it in 4:56.

Anyone have a link to the Rsk kit?
Thanks for the help guys.
DO NOT get the rsk from off road unlimited! It was pricey and I had problems with it. There is another company that makes one but I cant think of there name right now. I cant say if theres is any better but I can tell you the one I got from ORU sucked and cost a lot.

I got my 3" RSK made by Sky Manufacturing from CaryT, aka OBSWIZ. Great quality and price.

Smile The swap was good.

When I did mine I used the 350 springs plus I heard the ttb 50 springs were angled a little for the IFS.
I used my original driveshaft though. As for the track bar as long as it's close to the same angle as the drag link then that's good to go.
Otherwise what I did was count the rotations on the front driveshaft as I rotated both tires one full rotation. The front axle was 4:10 as my rear was so I was happy about that. I had to lay down in the middle to rotate both tires at the same time with the hubs locked. Unless u have limited slip then you'd only have to turn one.
I have no idea what RSK Is though.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! My only question is did u have to take the yoke of the dana 50 to use the F250 driveshaft? Also if I turn my tire 1 full rotaion the yoke should turn 4 times? this right?

I didn't swap yokes at all on mine I used the one that came with the nre to me dana 60.
Yes the shaft will go 4 complete turns plus a little more with one rotation of the tires. That's how I knew it was 4:10 which I was glad I have long arms to lol otherwise rotating both tires at the same time would b a bit harder to do.

Oh while the axle is out check the rotors to make sure they are not cracked or anything on the new one.
When I took my ttb 50 out the rotors were cracked. So just something that I didn't even think to look at before and I only put 4000 miles on the truck at that time since I've owned it.
I have pics up in an album on here (website) to pull the new axle back to line it up I used a yellow tie down strap which worked like a champ to line up the back leaf spring bolt holes.

I don't think I've ever seen a D60 'extracted' that way! Too bad about the springs, but if you're thinking of the RSK, might as well go with super duty springs for an even better ride!

Thanks Guys! I didn't think about super duty springs. I have a rear set I want to put in. Are the super duty springs the same lenght as the obs springs or do I need to rear spring perch back?

See post #17 https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...screwed-2.html. I think that information is for front SD springs. Are you saying you are going to use back SD springs in the front of your truck?

You actually need to move the front forward. The SD springs are 3 5/8" longer- the only way I know if to use SD springs is to do a Reverse Shackle Kit (RSK) at the same time.

Well that helps (RSK) lol Now I know what that means. I asked earlier but no one posted what it stood for. Thank you.
