97 - I have a couple of plows, but I havnt needed them in a couple years now because the snow wasnt all that bad until this year..so I guess I'll see if one will even start!

MD - Yeah, I'd LOVE to find a nice F250 CC 4x4 Dualie, manual or auto!

I have two heated shops, one has my '53, and a whole bunch of stuff, the other has my Buick, plus 4 atv's, plus a whole bunch of stuff, there is no room in either, I have to go outside just to change my mind! LOL!

Hi Pat,

About 80% of the snow has melted away, just a patch or two in the shady spots in my driveway..as for the '53, in the not-too-distant-future, I am going to have it totally restored, there will be some custom features like a nice v8 small block with good HP and torque, for mileage and towing a classic restored camper. By the time I retire, hopefully in 4yrs, or less, the truck will be finished, the wife and I are going to travel, and thats just the truck we want to do it in. We love going to classic car shows, get-to-gethers, etc., so if we dont do the camper thing, we are still using the truck to see and enter these events.

I'm planning the same for my 67. Going with a 351W, and a late model 5 speed and transfer case. Where in Wyo. are you? I lived in Cheyenne for a year, then three in Lander, back in High School. My mom was from Wyoming, and she lived there until she passed away in 04, up in Dubois.

I'm clear down in the SW corner, in the Bridger Valley, approx. 40 miles from the Ut. border. I'm thinkin about either a 351W 360HP 400lbsTq, or a 347 400Hp 420lbsTq crate engine. I'm going to go auto this time so the wife will be able to drive it as well..she has no problem driving anything with a manual trans, but I guess we are both a little lazy now..not that the auto wont be "improved" a little.
I'm thinking a whole new frame, independant suspension, etc.

I wanted a 6 speed with my -250, but since the wife can't drive a stick (she was a farm girl, what's up with that??LOL!), and I was a little hesitant, since I have a boat, and I wouldn't be able to trust anyone on the ramp with it, I decided to go with the auto. But, the 67 will have a stick. I really miss driving a manual. If she wants to drive it, she'll have to learn! Besides, figured it would be a good truck to teach the kids how to use a manual. I think they should know how.
