The Somewhat Official February BS Thread...

Its February already! Whew.. Before we all know it, its gonna be summer time! LOL!

jredline1984 02-01-2011 10:21 AM

Damn, I hope your right. Im sick of the cold.

jredline1984 02-01-2011 10:23 AM

Oooh, look! Someone from Wyoming actually started the thread this month, LOL!

coolbeans 02-01-2011 11:50 AM

Well, now we've gone and done it!!, 2 Wyo people in a Wyo thread..and they said it couldnt be done! LOL!

MAN is it cold and windy today! It's -11 at my house this am, but, the new Caddy looks good even in the snow. I was gettin ready to swim last night, but heard a sight clunk coming from the filter housing, so I shut the pool down, releived the pressure from the filter, opened 'er up, and saw that the element itself needs to be changed badly, I had forgotten to replace it last year, so, I ordered a new one, along with a few other parts that looked like they need replaced as well (preventative maintainence), so I dont get to swim for about a week but better safe than sorry! I am certain that you all feel quite badly for me..LOL!!

How's everyone else doing?

Here's looking forward to a great Feb! :-drink

jredline1984 02-01-2011 11:54 AM

Yeah, im huddled in the fetal position and balling because of it, LOL!

Everything is good on my end. Its currently -3* but thats a little warmer than the -34* it felt like this am.

coolbeans 02-01-2011 12:18 PM

Yep, it's colder than a mother-in-law's embrace!

Midwest Dually 02-01-2011 06:58 PM

Thats the news I been getting up around there. I spoke with the ranch I am moving on up to, and it was -36 when they did chores last night.. Whew... Brrrr! So far down here in the desert, it stayed around the high 60's, but been real windy!

I have been spending so much time in the stores buying up all the extreme cold weather gear I can get my hands on! LOL! Just a couple more weeks left, and I am gonna be there, so best to get ready now!

jredline1984 02-01-2011 08:55 PM

Its -50* in Glasgow MT currently

coolbeans 02-01-2011 09:46 PM

We have -10 here as we speak...I am sure it's colder than that!!

I have to get a new coat as well..I have lost so much weight the old one really hangs on me.

Midwest Dually 02-01-2011 10:44 PM

Bunji cords.. lots of em.. tie them all around yourself once you get your coat on! It will feel like a brand new one, LOL!

jredline1984 02-01-2011 10:46 PM

coolbeans 02-01-2011 11:22 PM

You're both right! LOL!

Let me expand,(no pun intended),on that idea..as well as using them for the coat, I can also hook a couple on my belt loops, and have some suspenders!

jredline1984 02-02-2011 06:15 AM

LOL, the bunji cords sound versatile as hell. Sham wow look out!

coolbeans 02-02-2011 10:06 AM

Well, I tried the bunji suspenders, but the cords were cutting into my shoulders, so, to get around that, I borrowed a couple of the wife's maxi-pads, put the cords on them, and hey, that works pretty well!...'course, I get some strange looks around the neighborhood, but with the coat on, none's the wiser.:-X10
