I'm going to install a 10'X10' roll-up door where the old sign is. and a 10'X9' door in the wall to the left of the picture.
This is the wall where the new 10'X9' roll up door will go. This part of the building will be used as a paint and bodywork area, with a dedicated paint booth at the rear of the building.
This is the back of the building. The overhead steam pipes will be removed and a new cyclone fence installed back 50'X100'. Lot's of room for projects!
This is a shot of the main shop area. The "false" ceiling is coning down and the wall height is 13' so I can get some big stuff in there!
The doorway at the far end of the shop leads to the bathroom, a storage room, and the office.
This is a shot of the other end of the main shop area. Lots of room for projects!
Not a bad deal for $30,000, and my payments are only $197.99/month!
More to follow as I proceed to make this my dream shop................

Will there be a big ol' pot-belly stove, resurrected from somewhere, for the local boys to sit around and "chew the fat" witcha'?
I can find only one L-shaped building on the "base" that could be your shop. Is it directly east-southeast, across the street, from what appears to be the biggest building on base, the one with the dark roof?
So do I Marv, so do I..........Just wish I didn't have to wait 62 years..........lol

Since I do quite a lot of work for the loggers around here, You Bet!

The land out back is yours, too?
That would be the one, and I get a new fenced in area behind the building 50'X106'

Is that your ski boat with the straight 6 merc?...............those 2 stroke mercs will embarrass many a boat with big v8 automobile engines in them........they were built with nothing but flat-out performance in mind.
Are the USAF coffee pots still there?........I have "some" experience dealing with those.
The place is gonna be great, Don!
