I just broke down and bought a new repop hood for my '54. Does anyone know if a template is available to properly locate the boomerang/F-100 side trim? Thanks in advance, Steve

I made a template out of 18 pack of busch beer it works great you have to be careful but a good light paper and a stanley knife is all you need or else get some wide masking tape and cover the back with this and get a good sharp pencyl and a sharp knife this worked for me on my 50 ford antenna and my hood ordnment. Also this beercase trick comes in handy for metalwork too and upolstrey thats what i redone my seat in to figure whare i needed stitching.
hope this helps and the best of part its free.
That would certainly work if I had a hood with "original" mounting holes to copy. I have new trim, just not sure where and pattern to drill the new holes.
