Question I need to buy a new F150 for work

I am a salesman and I need to buy a four door F150. I won't be hauling stuff or towing and gas mileage is very important as I get paid by the mile. What drivetrain package offers the best dependability and mileage?

My present vehicle is a taurus that has 250K on it. I will need it to last at least four years and probably 200K

I am just getting started in my search. Dodges are cheaper to purchae but I do not like the looks and everyone tells me they suck at gas mileage.

THANKS!!!

It's really pretty easy- if you're looking for the best mileage, then a 2WD SuperCrew with the 4.6/ auto is the one to go with. When you said "4 doors," I assumed you meant crew cab and not super cab. Manual tranny would get better mileage, but it's not available on the SuperCrew.
