For years I have wanted a train horn on my truck, I called up my local 4 wheel drive shop that I always go to and told them to finally order me a train horn, within three days the Hornblasters Classic 228 VX Train horn had arrived. Me and my buddy spent 11 hours putting it on one Sunday afternoon and WOW was it worth it. It is amazing how bad you scare people with the push of a button.
DEFINITELY RECCOMMEND YOU GET ONE OF THESE FOR YOUR TRUCKS!
ohhhhhh he would love that. He has his own train set up he is starting its all about the Great Northern.
Boy them things are a bit pricy I have to save up ! lol
hahaha thats why I used a seperate switch, they want you to use your factory horn with a toggle on/off switch but if I forgot it was on for some reason that might not be good
We use the Nathan K5 air horns on the SD90MAC locomotives we use here on the Arizona Eastern, they are good sounding horns, i have always been a fan of the Nathan air horns, but make sure you keep up on maintenance they will get clogged with gunk and go out of tune in a heartbeat, they sound like a dying cow when they do that and they are a major pain to re-tune.
