BRay09: That is very true, and the only thing i found out that stacks do is give you a TON more echo. But yes stacks are getting pretty over-rated.

 

I agree they sound louder and ARE louder because of the 4" exhaust piping to 6-8'' stacks that gives it alot of echo and bellowing that a smaller full exhaust won't have, but every truck i see now a days, gas or not, has a pair of stacks sticking out of the bed. A little 6cyl ranger going from a 2in stock exhaust to an exhaust that is 3'' from the manifolds through the pipes in their beds... talk about a loss of low end there!

 

in maryland not many people have them... the only people you see with them are my friends lol and that is like 2 people
