Well my fellow dent lovers just giving yall a heads up that gas prices will be really high, I currently work on the oil rigs and the price of the barrel of oil has gone up lately and will continue to rise we will be seeing another oil boom, so even though gas prices will climb keep your trucks id hate to see yall part ways with your toys, or as I call them my babies.
Mine is just holding the grass down at my buddy's house, and its good there for.....well.....ever. Mine aint going anywhere unless i buy a better one to replace it
Yeah me and a buddy have been talkin about this alot recently. I know as for him and I, we plan on bearing it out since they are our daily drivers... the passion runs deep with us. Though I too would like to see people keeping their trucks.

Thats what im saying my dd is a lifted 78 bronco with 35s and my toy is the 79 f100 with a soon to be 514, but I hope to keep both forever
Yeah there really is alot of people that use these trucks as DD's. Especially when you get out of the suburbs and into the farmland. Tikkakoski and I were out lookin at trucks today, and when we got out into our local farmland, there was an old ford literally every eight mile or so. Made for quite the pleasant drive if I do say so myself.
I had planned on rebuilding my factory 360 but seriously considering swapping in a 300 when the time comes. These oil barons and the games they play with gas prices make me sick. The *******s need us just as badly as we need them. Its a supply and demand business, there is obviously no shortage of oil and gas, you can buy all you want, you just have to pay through the nose to get it. A shortage is when you have gas lines at the pumps and they are running out.
Like^^ If I had the money im sure that I would be in the same boat. I just got my truck so I think that would be getting a little bit ahead of myself there...
It kills me to see these trucks go to the scrappers. That whole cash for clunkers BS was the death of,a lot of good dents...
To be honest when that happened I worked for a ford dealer and we mainly murdered 80s and 90s cars vans and trucks and one escape idk how that happened but it did, alot of fun best car that left was a 90 f150 good condition shortbed 302
I won't be getting rid of mine! Currently rebuilding it but grandpa bought it brand new in 77 and gave it to me, which I'm currently rebuilding, and I aint never gonna get rid of it!
Im not getting rid of mine eather...if i really worried about gas+oil product prices, i would have got a fancy plastic electric car thingy...nope, the "fun" or headaches are just beginning with my truck....haha
