Unlike what some people claim with the IDS, stock, tuned or whatever, it doesn't seem to affect AE. Been using it for a couple of years now, it's on all my laptops, so that way I never leave home without. Outside of CS5 Suite, that program gets used a lot around here, and no not on my 6.0 as much, we have about 7 vehicles, something is always happening.

it's not user freindly IMHO you'll need to read the book

it does not explain a lot of things however ,, you will need to learn what normal values are for most outputs ,, did u get the ford or domestic bundle?

That's good, that's what you need to read the nitty gritty on these trucks. I disagree and the the GUI of the program is more intuitive then most. Now you will need to learn the values for the engine you are looking at.

ford bundle is good ! way more usfull than just generic codes
I wish I would have gotten the domestic so I could read the other 2 of the big 3

they also just dialed in the injector monitoring this is what makes the AE most useful

I am not sure why he has that issue ?

I would do a step by step to show him how to get to it ,, but My truck is in the shop and I can't do the steps without it being plugged in

but here is a screenshot when I was beta testing it and it shows what window it is in

I just got mine in the mail last night.. Having some injector issues and being able to shut injectors down one at a time helped me pinpoint it.. Man this software is awesome!!!

IMHO this thing is dirty simple to use.

Anyone know how to use the ae to recalibrate the revs per mile to adjust for different tire size? I have been trying to figure that one out for a while.

I went to the AE website and poked around, didn't see a "scan tool", does it go by another name? Which one is most useful for the 6.0?

Found the domestic package for $630, still looking for the Ford package!

Found the Ford package on Sinister for $360.
