Mile Marker hubs conversion kit

I am going to put these on these Mile Marker hubs (449ss) on this weekend and I was wondering if anyone on here bought the conversion kit part # 95-32721 for it.
The instructions says SOME newer fords 1993 and up require
(keyword SOME you would think they would know which ones.)

Thanks Tony

No conversion kit required for the X. You will need four vaccuum caps to cap the vaccuum lines on the hub and at the fender well. I believe they are 3/16" ID caps.

Mine went in fine just as the basic kit. I love them!

Does anyone know if you need the conversion kit for warn hubs for the ex. I have a friend that bought a set, and then sold his ex. I can get them cheap from him, but i thought you needed some sort of conversion kit.

Thanks, Scott

The Mile Markers are SO easy to install. It should take you 20 minutes if you take your time and drink a beer in between doing each side.

there is NO KIT REQUIRED FOR EITHER BRAND (or for any brand i'm pretty sure)

you will have a reatianing ring/clip (this will install in the same place as the factory clip, the inner hub (needs to be 30 spline doe D50s), then your outer cap held on by about 6 hex head bolts......

Question for others who have installed the 449SS hubs on their X... After the hubs were installed, did you feel that the outside of the hub assembly felt loose. I installed them on my X a couple years ago and I can wiggle the outside on the hub(the part that has the **** and the 6 allen blots). I have never had a problem with them but have always wondered.

Team Mudd stated perfectly, no kit needed, My warn Premiums went on in about 10 mins in -12F outside! One of the best mods I've done so far! As jasonodsky stated, don't forget to cap the vacuum lines!

racerx7775, I don't recall mine being loose, although it was COLD when I installed mine and I was just looking to get warm! I just ran out and gave both sides of mine a wiggle, no real play to speak of, by the way it is COLD out again!

Racerx7775, I think there should be an O ring between the outside part of the hub and the inner part that it bolts to, and it takes up the slack or play that you have. Do you have it in there?

No conversion kit was needed when I installed my Mile Markers. Mine do have some play in them when I grab the outer portion of the hub.

all went well when I istalled them. The only thing I seen wrong was the
c-clip should be a little thicker. Once set it seems to not grab the hub. I had to bend the c-clip tighter to close the diameteer of the clip.
Other then that my hubs are tight and are not loose at the dial.

Just want to let you know I put these hubs on yesterday and everything went good.
As far as the hub feeling loose there should be no way it could be loose unless it is broke. There is a lifetime warranty on these I would call them and see if they would warranty Them.
One thing I did notice and may be your problem is the c-clip was to sprung and when installed they had a little play and if you realy gripped up on it you could actually pull it out. You may want to look at that and just close the diameter of the clip by bending it a little made them tight and I can not pull them out know.

Thanks, Ill give it a try when I rotate my tires soon. With the aftermarket wheels, I have to take them off to have full access to the removal of the hubs. The hubs work flawlessly. I just think its some kind of shim or spacer issue.
